All I know is that I am exhausted with feeling guilty for saying “no”. Unfortunately, it may not be easy to say “no” when someone asks you for something. So, I'm not going to feel guilty anymore. The inner battle was to either avoid saying no, or to say no, but then they feel guilty and take it back later. I'm going to say “no” when that's what I want to say. When I tried to stand up for myself, and say a firm “no”, they would guilt trip me.
